The Embassy Row Project Launches the NETZERO Incubator & Accelerator

Washington, D.C. – Oct 5, 2002 – This week the Embassy Row Project launched the NETZERO Incubator & Accelerator a Washington, D.C.-based think tank that provides an optimized conduit for international stakeholders to collaborate on accelerated net zero and sustainability-focused strategies and to assist small and medium size companies in creating and managing sustainability programs.

The NETZERO Incubator & Accelerator was made possible by a grant from the Embassy Row Project. “I was introduced to carbon reduction strategies by a regenerative agriculture farmer back in 2014,” explains Embassy Row Project founder James Scott, “We launched a Regenerative Agriculture coalition that advised members of the United States Congress on tools, tactics, and procedures for regenerative farming and agritech solutions. Earlier this year, we worked with several European embassies and multiple American and European energy associations and institutes to bring carbon reduction and sustainability best practices to the international energy sector. The initiative grew so quickly that we needed to relaunch as a sustainability and net zero-focused NGO.”

This much anticipated international launch connects to 47+ countries throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, North America, the MENA region, and beyond. NETZERO’s extensive outreach program is anticipated to introduce 1,000 to 2,000+ companies to its incubator and accelerator each month. “Our network of public and private sector partners are eager to get this moving,” explains James Scott “and we’re collaborating this institute and initiative with the ENVIROTECH Pre-Accelerator that assists climate and environmental tech startups in gaining access to international markets, investment capital, thought leadership opportunities, media connectivity, and more. These initiatives have been close to a decade in the making and it’s exciting to finally launch.”
