Nan Wang: Remain True to the Original Aspiration and Move Forward Independently – The Forerunner of Chinese Standard Poodles Industry
In the autumn of 2015, the very first national teach-level instructor evaluation was held by the China Animal Agriculture Association (CAAA), where dozens of Chinese elite instructors gathered together.Among them, a tall and profound male instructor who was proficient in dog handling was a little bit strange to everyone. Nan Wang, who has already got some white hair brought his standard poodle back to the competition. Many people thought that he is a middle-aged newcomer, however, only those seniors who have been in the industry for more than ten years said that Nan Wang is back again!
This time, with the outstanding results, Nan Wang successfully becomes one of the members in the first group of elite teacher-level instructors in China. Handled the dog Linda and won the first OPEN BIS1 of standard poodles in 2016, Mr. Nan Wang and his Standard Poodles have won hundreds BIS in total so far. Mr. Wang is considered as a forerunner who owns the most OPEN BIS1 of standard poodles, as well as the backbone of Chinese professional purebred dog competitions and dog shows.The standard poodle is a breed that beautiful but troublesome, therefore, many people are afraid of rising it, and they believe that is it hard for the Chinese people to show the most gorgeous side of the standard poodle. People in the pet grooming industry always say that “I would rather groom five small poodles than one large poodle”，it can be seen that grooming a standard poodle is troublesome and time-consuming. Nan Wang said that in 2005, from American’s a standard poodle named “Kelvin” participated in a competition in China with his halo, which was memorable for all of the audiences.
Kelvin’s appearance subverted the recognitions of both the arena and the whole China’s pet industry, and people started to realize that standard poodles can be that beautiful and powerful. It was also this beauty that impressed Nan Wang and made him unable to calm down his heartbeat. In order to reproduce the delicate beauty, Nan Wang started to learn the grooming of standard poodles, and he finally did it. Being obsessed by the standard poodles and having experience various frustrations, Nan Wang said during the process of learning, he spent a lot of time in thinking, especially for the in-depth understanding of pet grooming, and he finally figured out that one cannot groom a standard poodle by simply having an idea and without excellent pet grooming skills. After several years of intensive researches, Mr. Nan Wang has brought his standard poodle to win numerous domestic and international awards. In Thailand International Dog Show, Mr. Nan Wang won the Best Junior In Show award of Group 9 Specialty Shows. In addition, the standard poodles that ranked the first in NGKC 2016 ~ 2021 rankings were all owned by Mr. Nan Wang. It can be said that Mr. Nan Wang has proved by himself that Chinese people can take care of standard poodles and can also show their noble beauties.
When facing the frustrations during the past 20 years, Nan Wang always told himself: you chose your own way, you have to reach the destination even if you will need to kneel down to walk. Started fi*om a homelessness that was evicted by the landlord, Mr. Nan Wang finally become a person that engaging in several fields of business (legal representative of put supplies company, senior domestic breeder of standard poodles, teacher-level pet groomer and instructor, principal of pet groomer and instructor academy, senior pet groomer, owner of the China’s No. 1 standard poodle show dog, partner of international pet hospital, AKC all-breed dog examiner , and technical director of high-end pet grooming salon). However, these results are just an explanation to what Mr. Nan Wang has done during the past 20 years, in the future, Mr. Nan Wang will keep his utter innocence, and continue to move forward although he has experienced years of polishing. He will continue doing what he should do in the pet industry, and his name is Nan Wang. The years have only left a little while on his temples, but they will never change Mr. Nan Wang’s original aspirations in the pet industry.
