ClearPath Lending Scholarship Has Announced Their 2021 Winner
Irvine, California – September 2, 2021 – Property financing company ClearPath Lending just presented their scholarship winner for the academic year 2020-2021. The scholarship program provides $1,000 financial assistance to college students every year to be applied on the coming semester after the announcements. The recent winner is Federico Poloni, a student from the Fuller Theological Seminary in California. Poloni will receive his scholarship prize in the fall semester of 2021.
Getting a college degree is one of the most rewarding experiences that students can achieve. As a part of the scholarship application this year, students were asked to complete an essay with the question: “Do you think owning a home is important? Why or why not?”
Scholarship winner Federico Poloni discussed the importance of owning a home not just for the benefit of the individual, but also the bigger picture of how homeowners can contribute to the community.
“Regardless of where you live in the world, owning a home is of high importance,” he mentioned.
“Home owners invest in their community. They aren’t just transient to the neighborhood, the schools, or the next-door neighbors themselves. They get to know their community, they watch out for odd behavior and create safety,” Poloni added.
Federico also explained that it is an investment in both ways–homeowners invest in their community, while the community services and privileges give back to the homeowners.
“Ownership of property becomes ownership of the community. It doesn’t matter how you get to it, be it by building it from the ground up, or having the ability to buy a property. Either way, there are great benefits from financial, emotional and to the community,” he concluded in his essay.
