About the authors:

George F. Klein was born and raised in Arkansas and has roamed the forests and mountains in the middle western part of the state all his life. His writing is about places where he has actually been and things he has actually seen and done. He also has a law enforcement background, having worked as a reserve police officer for seven years, during which time he was on a reserve combat pistol team and won several trophies. He is a widower and has four children, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. 

Bill Hollenbeck grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas and has been a law enforcement officer for over 38 years. Bill started his career with the Dallas Police Department before moving back home to Arkansas working for the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office and eventually becoming Sheriff for almost 8 years. Bill is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, former SWAT leader, and holds a B.S. in Organizational Management. Bill is married to his wife Dr. Karen Hollenbeck and has five children and three grandchildren. Bill is currently the Chief of the Fort Smith Public Schools Police Department.
