New $1,000 Mini Grant for Nonprofits, Social Enterprises & Churches Provided by Urban Awareness USA
Urban Awareness USA is offering mini grants of up to $1,000 to Nonprofits, Social Enterprises and Churches that provide programs and services in urban communities. Funding is intended to support programs for at-risk youth, substance abuse, teenage boys, youth & adult mentoring, minority women, minority men, single parents, military families, college scholarships, sports & recreation, community & economic development, or Christianity.
All Nonprofits, Social Enterprises, or Churches with a central focus of providing programs or services in one or more of Urban Awareness USA’s 12 areas of focus is eligible to apply. Urban Awareness USA accepts submissions from US-based organizations. 501c3 is not required. Grants typically range from $250-$1,000, depending on factors such as mission alignment and availability of funds.
How to Apply: The Urban Awareness USA grant review committee seriously considers each application. Due to the large number of requests we receive, it may take up to 8 weeks for Urban Awareness USA to review all applications and select the grant recipient(s) for each round. Determination is made on a case-by-case basis, depending on factors like mission alignment and availability of funds.
