This UK plastic manufacturer and injection moulding company has registered growth in its sub-contract assembly service. To keep up with the increase in business it has acquired an adjacent property spread over 30,000 sq. ft. Here, it can carry out a customer’s assembly activity and streamline the entire process, resulting in savings for the customer and an increase in this business’s capabilities, such as assembly, packing, storage, and distribution.
As well as mechanical assembly other subcontract services include pressure testing, printing, and different product packing options for bulk and retail deliveries. BSA Mouldings Ltd. can now provide a complete order-to-end-user service for their customers.
BSA Mouldings Ltd. has purchased new ROMI 380T & 450T moulding machines for its mid-range machine area. The company intends to buy new machines in the coming year as part of an expansion program for current and new projects.
Over the past few months, BSA has installed hi-speed automatic cycling shutters at the factory and warehouse. This investment saves time because the doors open in sync with the approaching forklift and also money because of reduced heat loss during the open/close cycle.
