Adva Mobile’s Newest Software Includes Personal Text Numbers For Artist To Fan Communications

The newest version of the leading mobile marketing service for musicians and creative artists brings fans and artists closer.

Adva Mobile Corporation, the leading mobile marketing platform for creative Artists to acquire, engage, and sell to their Fans, expanded their popular marketing platform with new Fan relationship management tools. The leading new technology includes a personal phone number for each Artist to use to text with Fans.

Text, and the integrated engagement tools on the Adva Mobile Platform, are used to fundamentally change the way Artists interact with their Fans. The Artist – Fan relationship is important to both Fan and Artist and this relationship is enhanced because of the closeness that text messaging provides. Now, Artists can talk to their Fans personally like they would any of their friends.

Welcome to Text Conversations:

The new Adva Mobile platform provides each Artist a unique phone number that Fans and Followers can use to connect with the Artist. When the Fans text in, they can choose to opt-in to a Fan Directory for that Artist and are encouraged to enter their information to connect with the Artist personally. Artists can create conversations with their Fans based upon location, topics or tags of their choice.

The creative ways Artists can use Text to engage and communicate with Fans is almost endless. Because the service allows Artists to communicate directly with Fans, Artists can, for instance, send direct messages to certain Fans thanking them for supporting you with a purchase, mentioning you on social media, attending a concert or any number of direct communications. That kind of direct engagement is a great way to make your fan base feel appreciated and therefore more engaged.

Text is a terrific medium for Alerts. A text blast can be sent to everyone for a new album release or a simple thank you. Or, only to Fans that live in a certain city to promote a concert, or only Fans who’ve spent over $100 for a special event invite or exclusive VIP opportunity. Artists with a new tour schedule, or new music or video, can use text to Alert certain Fans exclusively before releasing it to the general public. Artists can sell music, concert tickets or merchandise directly to their Fans, cutting out any middlemen. Or, these messages can include Shopify, CD Baby, iTunes or other sales links where fans can store credit card info or instantly make purchases.

It’s about the Data:

Artists struggle with their current Fan Directory because there is no way to learn which Fans actually buy their music or come to their shows. In the past, Artists have often had to use intermediaries to promote and sell their art, and those intermediaries typically did not share Fan information with the Artist. Text conversations encourage Fans to share information about themselves, and this data is extremely valuable as it provides Artists with insights about who is supporting their art. “The data belongs to the Artist, and the data is as private as any tech company, online store, or service provider has about the Fan.” said Jack Kelly, CEO of Adva Mobile. “With their personal phone number and our text conversation platform, we provide Artists direct engagement with their Fans, only possible when the Artist is the custodian of their own audience.”

Moving on from Social Media:

Though social media is an effective way of broadcasting a message to the masses, the conversations between Artist and Fan are often disjointed. And, by depending on these platforms for communication, the Artist needs these platforms to stay popular with their Fans, or else you’re back to square one, having to build a following on a different platform. See MySpace. Platforms like Facebook and Twitter are unreliable ways to reach fans, and the mobile generation is sidestepping email. The Adva Mobile platform helps Artists connect with Fans through a powerful, personal communications medium: the phone number.

A Full-Service Marketing Platform for Creative Artists:

In addition to now providing each Artist with their own personal phone number for text conversations with Fans, the new platform also provides new capabilities for building Fan Directories. Widgets, Landing Pages, and Pop Up Forms for that allow Fans to provide their phone numbers and opt-in to the Fan Directory for that Artist. Fans that provide their phone number, or send a text to an Artist, receive a text welcome message prompting them to provide some personal info. That could include location, biographical info, or any data type the Artist wants that will help segment their audience.

These new capabilities augment the already strong existing Platform which provides Artists with Interactive Web App Landing Pages, Email Marketing, CRM Fan database and campaign creation and management tools. Fan interaction on the Web App is captured and associated with individual Fan Profiles, which help Artists understand engagement and identify which Fans are Superfans and ready to buy.

“If you’re a band on a major label, you have a support staff to manage all these Fan outreach and management activities. If you’re an emerging Artist, you need simple, effective tools to manage this yourself,” said Kelly.
